Hey guys! I know, I've been ditching the blog again. But anyway, this new one's here! As you can see from the title, this post is all about my vacation to the Other Side Of The World (OSTW). Have I told you my family's destination yet? I don't think so. Well, I'm finally going to reveal it.
Of course my classmates already know where I'm going and my family too, but here it is: I'm going to U.S.A.! It's going to be supercold there though. It can reach 1 degree celsius in the morning, at 8.00 AM! My mom and dad have been preparing for our trip lots - since July, I think. And now it's come all the way to this day. Wow, time sure flies by quickly! In August I thought that I would never make it to December... But - Wait! Oh yeah... I haven't told you the travel date yet! Oh silly me. As you know from my other posts I'm quite decently forgetful.
Well, I'm going to be leaving Singapore on the 14th, or maybe it's the 15th... Anyway, we're not taking the fancy Singapore Airlines, because its too expensive. We're just taking the China Airlines to go there. But it's not a non-stop flight there. We are stopping at Taiwan first for eight hours, then going on the airplane again to go to the United States of America. It's going to be quite freezing there but we brought along a lot of jackets and a ton of layers, so I hope all of us (especially my little 3 - year - old brother Alphonsus) will be nice and warm. Wow, I think that all of us are going to look like a giant puff of air! But nevermind. Most people going to a country that is almost at freezing point would do that.
So guys, where are you all going for your December Holidays? I hope you tell me! Please post your destination into the comments below along with your e-mail and I'll try to get back to you, if you want. You can also post requests for blog posts and maybe I'll make the blog post that you requested. It's mostly like a first - come - first - serve service.
Anyway, see you soon! I hope that I'll be able to make a new blog post right before we get into the aeroplane!
Sincerely, Kirsten Clare

Hello again everybody!
Hi, ho, again! I'm sorry for not posting onto this blog for such a long period of time again... I was quite caught up with my own busybody business. But, anyway, as you can see from the title, this post is all warm greetings and sorries. I hope that all of you who constantly check my blog will enjoy reading it once again, after I had posted much, much more posts. I'll try my best to get back to you if you comment your e-mail.
So, anyway, I just wanted to say a little "hi" and share the good and bad news that had happened in my school. Do you want to hear the good news or the bad news first? I think you would want to hear the Bad News before the Good ones. Okay... Here it goes.
So, anyway, I just wanted to say a little "hi" and share the good and bad news that had happened in my school. Do you want to hear the good news or the bad news first? I think you would want to hear the Bad News before the Good ones. Okay... Here it goes.
- I had gotten into the top two classes in my school, but only six of my other classmates followed me to the same class I had gone to.
- All the girls in my new class, Teamwork 1, are grouped in cliques and groups, so it may be hard to find a whole - class group and settle there.
- My best buddies are not in my class, so I'm quite lonely sometimes.
- Only one of my good friends are in my class :(
- I may not have time to post on this blog regularly anymore in the next school year.
So that's the bad news. But anyway, here's the good news!
- I am fourth in position among the whole of the 289 pupils in the Primary 3 level.
- I am in the first class! :)
- I am the top scorer in English!
- Today is the last day of the School Year!
- I have enough time to post on this blog regularly in the December Holidays!
- I am going on a 15 - day trip overseas!
- I am attending the Prize - Giving Ceremony that only Prize - Winners are allowed to attend!
Ah well... I think that this is the end of my Mostly - All - About - Me (MAAM) post. See you later! I hope to see you here at my Blog again soon!
Sincere Regards,
Kirsten Clare M. Negapatan

A real surprise
Hey guys! I mean, also a warm welcome to girls, of course. Well, you can't really guess this post's subject from the title. I know, it's quite obvious that a real surprise could mean anything. However... This post isn't about much, so it isn't "*R & T*" a surprise. By the way, "*R & T*" means "Really & Truly", but I put the stars on each end of the sentence because I wanted it to look F - A - N - C - Y. You know, like a boutique or something. No offence, boys, but I'm a girl, right? I like doing what I like to do. Yeah, I know that that doesn't really make sense. But anyway! Back to the topic.
The main topic was actually supposed to be on where I was going for December, but I decided to keep it a secret - I was quite scared for some reason. So. When I got that scared feeling, I decided to change the topic to "A new blog???..... Again?" But I didn't really want it to stand out, so.... I just decided to keep it a secret. Have I introduced you to my Best Friends yet? I didn't really mean to make them a public figure, but... How can I introduce my friends to you without introducing you to their names? You need to know their names and what to call them. So, I'm sorry if I might have accidentally betrayed you, Rachael, but I have to.
As you know, my friend Rachael has chosen - or decided - to make a new blog, just her BFFs and her. We would take turns to post comments, and to post posts as well. I know that it would be fun, even if nobody knew about the blog but us, so that we could express ourselves freely. I think that it would make a good difference in our lives and lighten our heart. All the passers - by who had just looked at this post to read, you have your own place to post your thoughts, as well. Remember "Sharing your Thoughts"? Yep! That's your web sharer, if you want one. Also, if you would like to make a little diary or journal, you could - It would greatly improve your english, whether it's grammar or vocabulary that needs improving. Everybody could improve their English by reading and writing. It's a good habit to write, and sometimes, though it doesn't really matter, you get rewarded for it. For example, there's a writing competition of at least a thousand words that's taking place in the year of 2011. I don't really focus on the prize - I focus on the writing. You'll never know what you might find out about yourself, just through writing.
Also, just for reference, you can ask any librarian or adult or english whiz about story writing, and they'll give you lots of good advice. You can also ask for my phone number, once you verify that you're someone that I trust and know. Just ask, through school or comments. Geezle peezle, I never get much of a comment in here. Is there something wrong with my computer that doesn't allow me to see comments or ratings? Because the number of visitors to my blog just keep going higher and higher. Honest! I didn't include myself in the bar graph, either.
Well, that's it for today... And, as usual, I encourage you to be a better writer and get better scores at English! :)
Warm and Sincere Regards,
Kirsten Clare, the owner of Kirsten Clare's Diary.

No more glasses! Hurray!
Well, guys, I should have told you this a month ago, but I didn't want you to know just yet. Although I haven't told you, the topic is clear: No more glasses. Isn't that great? I mean, if glasses are being worn on your nose, you have to always clear the smudges away, or the fingerprints away, so, it's like, annoying. So my mom figured, "Isn't there a way to help my daughter's eyes' prescription go down?" And my mom's favourite optometrist, Miss Feebee, told my mom that there was a way to do that, and it was by Night Lens, otherwise called OK Lens. The lens would help to bring my prescription down pretty fast. I didn't know, but I was quite excited. No more glasses? It was too good to be true. But it was. My mom thought about it for a while, and she agreed to pay half the fare, for the transport fees first, then she would pay the other half after they showed and made sure that I was OK with it and that my eyes didn't have any irritation. My mom thought that the overall fee was quite $$$Expensive$$$ , so she asked Miss Feebee if she could give us a discount. Since we went to only her store to buy the eye care goods, she agreed to lower it by $200. My mom, thrifty, thanked Miss Feebee for the discount.
The next week came and I was bubbling with anticipation. Miss Feebee had said that the Lens would come in about 2 weeks time, yet I couldn't wait! It was the 6th or the 9th of June, I guess, and we were out at Orchard to buy some stuff. It was fun, until my brother got hurt. he had 4-6 mid-deep cuts on his arms and I bet it hurt a LOT. I pitied him and I felt relieved that I didn't get the injury. Still, I already had even bigger injuries before. And even DEEPER ones. I bit my lip as he was treated - painfully, I think. But we soon had lunch at the Kopitiam store there, and I think everybody was treating my brother extra carefully. Even me! While we were eating, mum got a call from Miss Feebee that the lens had arrived from America. And only in a WEEK! I was so excited that I ate quicker than I ever had before. I bombarded my mom with questions and she got lost in my questions and feeding my younger brother.
Anyway, we got to the optometrist, tried on the lens, they fit perfectly, went to an eye exam, bombarded with questions and instructions, packed the lens in a bag and Dat-ta-da-da! Done. I know it sounded quick and I hope you're not disappointed that you didn't get filled in with the entire details, but you know, you cannever always leave me a comment or suggestion and you know that I will never respond ignore your comments. Thanks for listening / reading and I hope you enjoy the rest of the blog!
Yours Sincerely, Kirsten Clare @ Kirsten Clare's Diary.

A very BUSY week/ month
Hiya, fellas! I'm sorry for not posting on my blog for so long... I guess I almost forgot all about it! For those who posted comments and haven't received a reply, don't worry. I have looked at them and probably replied to the replyable-or-whatsoever comments.
Anyway, back to the subject. Guess what. As you know, today is Tuesday, 5th of July. But I have been VERY busy on Youth Day Off - in - lieu. The reason is because I forgot to ask for clay so my mom had to go to POPULAR to buy me some at nighttime. Because I bought it only at nighttime, I had to do it the next morning. So, luckily I finished it on time, at 6.00p.m. I really was exhausted to be sitting down for so long. I was sooo relieved when I could stand up again. But that's the only the first day. And the first part. For the rest of the story, look out for the titles A very BUSY week/month II and A very BUSY week/month III. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy reading what's in my blog ;D
P.S. If you have passion for writing, a good grade in English and a busy life full of news(optional), I have an idea for you. Instead of coming to my blog every month or so, why don't you focus on your OWN blog? I mean, you can improve on your English too, right? And if you just give me the website of the blog, I can visit every time I can and I can post feedbacks and suggestions for a better blog entry. You are welcome to visit my website for reference, and any other blog you know of. You may, if she gives you permission, visit my best friend, Rachael's blog. Ask her first - she's always visiting her blog - before you go copying any of her extotic words or designs or photo types or subjects. Her website is shown in my "My favorite/ followed blogs" column. Or if you want quicker access, here her blogsite is: (You can click on it to visit straightaway)
